Adagio is aimed at young dancers who are enrolled in national or international dance schools, aged between 7 and 21.

The meeting competition is divided into two categories:

  • A – Amateurs – Young dancers who practice dancing up to 5 hours a week;
  • P – Pre-professional – Young dancers who practice 6 or more hours of dance per week.

In each of the categories, dancers will be able to participate in:

  • Solo;
  • Duo;
  • Small group (up to 5 elements);
  • Large group (more than 5 elements).

There are 4 levels:

  • Children: 7 to 9 years old;
  • Beginner: 10 to 12 years old;
  • Junior: 13 to 15 years old;
  • Senior: 16 to 21 years old.
  • Classic/neoclassical style;
  • Contemporary style.
  • Monetary rewards;
  • Diplomas, medals and trophies;
  • Scholarships for dance courses;
  • Other awards to be announced.

By plane (via Lisbon):

Ourém is 130km from Humberto Delgado Airport, in Lisbon. The airport has a metro station that can take you to Estação Oriente (around €1.50).

Here you can take a bus (around €10) and in 1h15 you will be in the city of Fátima, which is 15 minutes away from Ourém.

Fátima is one of the main tourist centers in the country, generally receiving more than 5 million tourists per year, so it is possible to find accommodation very easily. ADAGIO has a partnership protocol with a hotel that offers advantageous conditions for event participants.

The Adagio organization will provide buses that will connect Fátima/Ourém and Ourém/Fátima. More detailed information will be given to participants.

There are cafés and restaurants in the vicinity of the theatre where you can enjoy a meal at affordable prices.

Adagio has a partnership with a company that provides meals directly at the event location. If interested, schools must order meals before the meeting. For more information contact Adagio.
